The Merrie Go Round Broke Down is a universally known piece of music that begins almost ever Looney Tunes cartoon short, and composer Joshua Moshier carried on it's use within the franchise to grand heights in the Looney Tunes animated feature, The Day the Earth Blew Up! Now Playing!
Joshua sits down with me to discuss the film's composition as well as behind the scenes orchestra members and easter eggs you'll hear throughout the films swift 90min runtime.

A Portion of this episode is dedicated to the late animator, Robert L. McKnight II or Bob McKnight as he was known in the Animation world. He sadly passed shortly after the screening of the film in LA, but thankfully he was in attendance!

The Day the Earth Blew Up has Officially Kicked off it's Oscar Campaign with Screenings in Los Angeles so that the film may be up for contention. Andy and I were both in attendance for the Premier at the Famous Grauman's Theater in Los Angeles complete with cast and crew. A Director Interview with Pete Browngardt was conducted after the screening and you'll be able to hear some of that in this episode. Full audio coming soon!
The next screening will be at the Laemmle NoHo 7! Tickets on Sale now!
