We're BACK!
Sabina Graves (Gizmodo, This Means Podcast Producer) rejoins the podcast to discuss the latest and greatest with the Looney Tunes Franchise; including a re-cap of our trip to Six Flags: Fiesta Texas and the Vegas Philharmonic at the Smith Center to catch Bugs Bunny at the Symphony!
The Looney Tunes are celebrating the Lunar New Year with a slew of merchandise that includes collaborations with brands from BOSS, UNIQLO, KOHL'S, UNIQUE VINTAGE, MOSCHINO, GAP, and SCOTCH & SODA just to name a few!
This also allows for the brand to pump out new content such as this special Lunar New Year centric short from the team behind Bugs Bunny Builders where they teach kids the different aspects of the traditional Chinese celebrations such as the food, the parade and the reveal of the next animal.
SCOPELY and Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem have new characters entering the fray with Lunar Bugs and Lunar Lola, both wearing traditional Lunar New Year symbols on their stylish wardrobes.
In Looney Tunes News:
Duck Dodgers: The complete Series is headed to Blu-Ray on March 28th!
This will include a new remaster of the the classic Chuck Jones and Michael Maltese short that started it all, as well!
TINY TOONS:
TINY TOONS: LOONIVERSITY Will be Released on HBO MAX in 2023!
THE OSCARS
The Oscar Noms have been revealed and Brendan Fraser is among the leads for Best Male Lead for his role in The Whale!
He was recently on The Drew Barrymore Show and brought up Looney Tunes Back in Action! He bragged about working with Bugs, called Daffy a jerk and even name dropped Bruce Lanoil who was the puppeteer for the on-set Bugs and Daffy!

From one 'Looney Tunes' actor to the next:
LeBron James has made NBA history this week by scoring at least 40 points against all 30 NBA teams!
ALSO: The ANNIE NOMS Placed friend of the podcast Candi Milo (Granny, Witch Hazel) and Michael Ruocco (Storyboard Artist) on the top list for awards thanks to their work on HEX APPEAL!
We are BREWING UP GOOD FORTUNE for the NOMINEES!
SIX FLAGS: FIESTA TEXAS
While the rides that weren't breaking down every 10 minutes were fun, there was so much that was a disappointment by our trip.
- No Hot Chocolate Stands
- No Popcorn
- The Price of Carnival Games was Astronomical! We're talking $15 a throw!
- The Batman Ride continuously broke down.
- The Holiday in the Park was advertised to continue through the Holiday Season and yet everything for it pretty much ended on the 23rd. LAME!
- The Soda Machines were broken. The food was small compared to it's price and to top it all off; My Mother was cold!
While the park activities left a bad taste in our mouths, we did see some wonderful friends and the merchandise was out of this world!
The trip to Vegas to catch Bugs Bunny At the Symphony!
George Daugherty and the entire Vegas Philharmonic made up for the prior week's disappointments! You can check out the entire interview on the YouTube page or listen to that podcast next!
It was a beautiful concert and the visceral experience of seeing these cartoons played live is absolutely a MUST for any Animation fan!
And Before I go, the Looney Tunes Cartoons Loungefly is now available to purchase!
AND stickers to show your support for the show are now available!
